it’s wednesday… already… the middle of the week… woohoo… last night Wendy came over to give us(me and Justin’s) scarves and hats… it was so nice… I really liked it that I’m gonna call(or email) her up and ask her to teach me how to knit…
we had KFC toonie tuesday yesterday for dinner… but now, they don’t let you get a salad instead of the fries, you had to get the fries… sucks doesn’t it??? before they let you do that… oh wells…
turns out Murriel doesn’t start @ YTO till next Monday… @ 1815(6:15pm) hope he passes the DG training and hope he gets at least 3 1/2 hours there a night…. then we’ll be set he’ll be working nearer our house… and coming home earlier too… equals more sleep at night…
that’s about it, I guess…. xcept my co-worker came back from phils and she gave me this native bag that I can use in the summer time… nice… and she said she’s got some purses and wallets and watches that she’s selling… we’ll see when she brings them to work….
that’s about it I guess…. nothing special happening…. xcept this Saturday, our new bedroom set are getting delivered… then we’ll spend the day fixing our room… maybe even go to Rona to look at tiles and stuff… how exciting huh??? well exciting enough for us, we’re planning on renovating our bathroom… and probably paint or wallpaper our bedroom…
so much to do, so little money to do it with…

aaahhh… another weekend passed…. eventhough it there was a snow storm saturday we still had a very busy weekend…
saturday
Ate bhong and her kids came over really early…. around 6:30am to stay the day, her husband dropped them off and he went to work at Depot… we cooked some breakfast, bacon, eggs, pancakes…. and some leftoever chicken wings from last night…. then we just watched the kids play until our new washer and dryer were delivered…. then Murriel spent some time installing the Washer… then me and ate Bhong went out to buy KFC and go to the Dollarama and the bank… it was really snowing bad that morning!!! even the inside of the windshield was frozen!!! can you believe that???!!!took us an hour to do everything… then mom and my 2 other sisters came over to cook pansit… and we had lunch… then we went out again to go the chinese store to buy ingredients for ginataan and I did my shopping too… and some wings for dinner… the ginataan was good but mom didn’t buy the right rice flour…. I’ll make it again next time… and he borrowed Catwoman and Cellular…. I love that Rewards thing at Blockbuster… we rent so often that at least every other week we got a free rental.. hehehe…. really, no life huh???!!! then we cooked the ginataan and Murriel made his wings with the bbq sauce… and we watched Cellular… I expected that movie to suck, but it was good! I liked it…
Sunday
we went to church of course, even if it was freezing outside… I wore my LJ’s for the first time and really bundled up… then off to Eastgate for lunch… then we went to Sears Home to look at bedroom sets again… but they didn’t have the one that we liked from the catalogue…. oh well.. then we went to Square One to buy Justin a booster seat for the car… then to Wally World (as my co-worker calls it) to do some grocery shopping… so we don’t have to go to Basics… and then me and Murriel got in a fight… and he went out of the store so to get back at him I left my shopping cart with everything in it and just went out of the store too… hehehe.. sorry to the person who had to put everything back… then some arguing, some shouting… I was so mad that I just took the car and took off… I left Justin with him… I just drove around, went to get gas, do some grocery shopping and went to buy take out at Mickey D’s… took me about 2 hours to do all that and by the time I got back I wasn’t mad anymore and he wasn’t mad anymore… I had to smile at the funny looking snowman in front of our house… they went outside to play in the snow waiting for me…. hehehe…
so we ate our mcdonalds then tita Leony called to say they were coming over to watch Catwoman with us… and they brought Lasagna and Garlic bread… that Lasagna was so good… now I wanna start making one again…. maybe next weekend…
well, that was our weekend…. it was fun except the fighting… I hate it when we fight…
I was thinking about it, and I realized that we have known each other for 8 years now… 6 years dating and 2 years married… time does go by fast!!!
well, it’s another week, hope this week is a little warmer than last week…

just took a bite of my BLT… bad idea to eat a BLT if you have a cold sore… esp if it’s under your tongue…. SAKIT!!!!!

it is currently, as we speak, -23°C outside and it feels like (when the wind blows) -35°C… cool huh??? or should I say cold??? hehehe… just a little inside joke…
yesterday, Murriel ended up not going to his part time job, instead we stayed with Mark and his family at the funeral home of his grandma’s wake… so sad… our ninang (Mark’s mom, ninang on our wedding, that is) told us the story of when her mom was sick, and how it was and everything… so sad… it was lung cancer that she died of, and she didn’t even smoke!!! isn’t that very sad??? I felt like crying, but I always do on times like this, even if I only met her once… even with people I don’t even know… like Sarrah’s uncle when he died and we went to the wake… I still cried… we stayed with them for like 3 hours just to kind of cheer up Mark and show our respects… after that we went to Eastgate to eat dinner at 8:30pm….. they were closing already and we almost missed it… but I heard something about not going straight home from a wake, it’s bad luck or something…
while there, Wendy called to say she wants to come over to drop off our scarves that she knitted for me and Justin… sorry Wendy we didn’t get home till like 9:30 and I still had to wash some dishes and wash Justin’s bottles… and by the time I finished I was so tired that I just wanted to go to bed… it might have been you calling, but I didn’t pick up the phone coz I was half asleep already… sorry…. I’ll call you later…
well, here goes… Justin’s new word for the week.. . this week he’s learned to say “NO” to everything…
“NO!!!” – he wants to take his jacket off by himself…
“NO!!!” – he wants to take his boots off by himself…
“NO!!!” – he wants to carry the bag by himself…
“NO!!!” – he doesn’t want to kiss you…
“NO!!!” – he just doesn’t want to!!!!
but yesterday at the funeral home, he was charming everybody with his beautiful eyes, his laughing, his baby talk… and how he says MAMA to call Murriel… hehehe… but it’s a little embarrasing coz he’s so loud… what can we do, he’s at that age…
finally I got the reimbursement for my glasses… and it’s been direct deposited to my account!!! YEHEY!!!! now I can pay my dad…. yikes!!!
what to do this weekend??? well I plan to start cleaning again this afternoon, if my sister comes over to look after Justin… then tomorrow, we couldn’t make any plans because our brand new Washer/Dryer are being delivered with no specific time… so it’s real busy on Saturdays… then after it’s delivered, Murriel has to install it and everything… w/c means he’ll take a few hours… 
I hope my sister (Cathy) comes over…. I haven’t seen Jess and Vince since hmmm…. New Year…. a few weeks already!!!
well, I’ll cya when I cya everyone… have to start working now, plus my BLT has gotten cold and so has my morning tea… tata!!!

Yesterday, Justin came home with a fat lip… literally… my mom said he was running in the hallway before my mom went to work and he fell and he must’ve bitten his lip, it wasn’t cut or anything, but you can see the blood clot on his bottom lip and it was so swollen… his lower lip doubled in size!!!and when we picked him up in the afternoon, he was poiting at it and talking baby talk… poor baby…
THEN, at night, while I was doing some laundry and watching American Idol, he was on the stairs, flicking the lightswich on and off on and off, until he fell down the stairs…. poor baby… I was so scared and mad all at the same time and then the phone rings… it’s the same 800 # that’s been calling our house everyday like 3x a day and finally this time there was someone on the other end and I yelled at him until he said sorry and they’ll stop calling… the poor guy said that it’s the auto dialer, that the machine dials too fast and we answer before the telemarketers get on the line… felt sorry for him afterwards… but still, I hate those calls when you pick up and no one’s on the other end… there’s another local number that’s been calling too… now I”ll wait a few rings before I’ll answer so I can tell them to stop calling too… I’d like to get the number to get on the do not call list… anybody know what it is???
anyways, back to Justin, I felt so sorry for him… but it’s not the first time that he fell off the stairs… Murriel said that I have a slow reflex… because I can see Justin falling, but it’s like I’m in shock and I’m stuck and can’t do anything but watch him… it’s always been like that for me… I remember Wendy telling me that there’s two kinds of people in emergencies, one who takes charge of the situation and one who freaks out… I think I’m the latter… help!!!
Now, Justin’s getting harder and harder to leave with my mom in the morning… Just this morning, when the elevator opened on my mom’s floor, I was holding his back and a bag of milk, I stood by the door so it wouldn’t close and guess what he did, he wouldn’t come out of the elevator!!! he stood in the farthest corner and wouldn’t move… I had to call my mom so she’d get him… then he finally moved from the corner it was to lie down on the floor crying…. he wouldn’t get up….
Right now, I’m talking to him on the phone and when I said Hello, he said “ano?” so funny… and my mom’s trying to take the phone from him and he kept saying “no, no, no” …

Justin’s new words for this week and last week…. I just forgot to write about it last week…
Yaya – well not yaya as in babysitter yaya but we were watching Friends on TBS and there was a commercial for “YAYA Sisterhood” movie or something and when the girls on tv said YAYA he said YAYA too… hehehe…
Boohbah – this is children’s show here, it’s just like that other baby show that I don’t see now… hhmmm… I can’t remember the name… but when he sees/hears the show he shouts “BOOHBAH” “BOOHBAH”
Bird – something that sounds like bird, bec when he says it it’s either he’s looking up in the sky or he’s holding his birdie… lol
Oh yeah, another update on his weight… before he used to be so light… like 22 lbs, but since he’s been drinking milk from a bottle I think he must’ve gained like 5lbs or something… It’s so hard for me to carry him now, esp with all the extra clothes that you wear for winter… well we’ll see in February for his next checkup, won’t we???
