well, it’s tuesday morning, we’ve all survived Valentine’s Day… it was so funny yesterday… remember I was in such a crappy mood because all day my hubby had not greeted me a Happy Valentine’s Day???? or even call me during his breaks??? in fact I had to call him… anyways, I was just quiet on the drive home and he kept asking me what’s wrong… I just said nothing… because I wasn’t really in the mood to talk… I also had a very tiring day at work… and the weather didn’t help at all… anyways, so we got home a little late because of traffic, maybe everyone’s trying to get home to go on their dates… oh well, so he took out all the trash coz it’s trash day today… and he told me to start warming up the lasagna that we’re having for dinner… so I didn’t bother changing into my home clothes since we only got less than an hour till he has to leave for work… then when he came inside the house, he said don’t kiss me ok… I was wondering why he said that… then I went upstairs to change when the lasagna was in the microwave cooking… and I saw it on the dresser… he got me a bouquet of flowers!!! so sweet… I couldn’t stop smiling when I came down the stairs… and he said you should’ve seen your face… hehehe..
well, since I didn’t give him anything, I called and called my sister last night so she can go out for me and buy me a cake for the hubby… well, I didn’t reach her until after 8 and I told her to go to Loblaws… well, the smart person that she is, she went to Choppers… claiming she didn’t hear me say Loblaws… well finally she got the cake, but she was too late… both her and the hubby came to our driveway at the same time!!! my hubby was wondering why my sister was there… and she came to door “borrowing $20″ so I just said… oh well, we’re busted…
so he saw the cake and he really liked it because it was the one that he likes, the really sweet kind… and he really liked what I had written on the cake it said “Happy Valentine’s Day, Papa” he liked it, too bad I didn’t get to surprise him too… now I’m getting ideas for the next Valentine’s Day…
well that was our Valentine’s, very cheesy but it’s ok… I just wanted him to make an effort even once in a while to think of something again and surprise me…. oh wait… I remember now, last year he did something too… but I was too sick to appreciate it… he filled the floor and bed of our bedroom with rose petals!!! it was sweet but as I said, I was too sick then…. yeah, he does something everytime…. even last Mother’s Day… he surprised me with a bouquet of flowers too….. sorry Mahal…. I don’t know how I forgot all those things…

My baby J is so little compared to his cousin V, and yet, J can push him around and make him cry so often, it’s so funny!!! like last saturday, when we dropped him off to my sister’s house to spend the day while me and my hubby went to the casino so he can try the texas hold’em…. It was funny when we were leaving and I told J to say kiss me bye bye… and he thought he was coming with us, and he kissed my sister bye and then he went to the door too… so funny… I guess it’s because we seldom go to my sister’s house that he’s not familiar with his surroundings yet…
well, the casino date was ok… I didn’t play that much, because I didn’t want to lose… he sat at the PaiGow Poker table for a bit while waiting for a table for texas hold’em…. I realized then that my hubby can make friends if he wants to… he can make the most serious looking dealer smile!!! isn’t that weird, when he’s the moodiest person I know… while waiting for him, while he played in the poker room, I wanted to play the wheel of fortune slots but I couldn’t get any seat!!! I think in the whole casino, they only had 4 of them with a .25 cents slots… the rest were for $1 or $5 so I ended up playing in the 5 cents slots playing monopoly… it’s not as much fun, because I never know when I’m winning… it’s so hard to understand those games…. good thing I didn’t lose anything… even won 45 cents… so funny…. the trip was good since we didn’t lose any money…. in fact we won a little…
afterwards, we stayed at my sisters house for a while, then we went to my mom’s house for a change to watch Ray and we bought some KFC…. that’s about it…
Sunday, church of course, then we just went with my parents to this 1st bday party, we didn’t stay there long, since we hardly knew anybody… it’s so funny how my baby wants to play with the other kids but they keep running away from him when he comes near them…. then when they actually play with him, he smiles and comes running towards me… so cute….
then we went home, I did some laundry, then we tried to watch The Notebook but I was so tired, I fell asleep so I just decided I’ll just watch it one of this weeknights… since Blockbuster introduced that no more late fees policy… I’ll just keep the movie for a few more nights…
watched the grammy’s before I went to sleep…. I waited for Jlo’s and Marc Anthony’s performance…. thought it was gonna be so good, what with all the talk about it being their 1st performance together… turned out to be so bad!!! I didn’t like it at all, thought they were gonna do something upbeat, but it was a love song, and it was in Spanish!!! oh well…. I really like Jamie Fox’s performance… I didn’t know he plays the piano for real or can sing…. he’s very talented then!!!

When me and hubby were still in the dating stage of our relationship, he would put so much effort in surprising me during any occasion…. may it be my birthday, an anniversary even Christmas… I miss those days…. ever since we decided to get married, he stopped doing any of those things…. are all guys like this??? it’s not like I want him to go all out, just a simple greeting, a simple acknowledgement that he knows it’s Valentine’s for instance…. that’s all I ask… maybe a greeting plus a kiss…. I don’t know… and we’re just going to our 2 year wedding anniv…how would we be like if we’ve been married say for 10 years??? it feels like we’ve been together for so long…. this year, we’ve known each other for 8 YEARS!!!! 8 &*#!@ years!!! 2 years of that married…. and I feel like every year, his effort to aknowledge anything is dwindling slowly….. I feel like crap….. sorry, maybe it’s just this day…. and tonight, he didn’t even take tonight off from work…. didn’t even think that I would want to go out for dinner at least….. waaaaahhhhh!!!!!
anyways, I hope this day ends soon…. i’m just in such a crappy mood…. 2 more hours and I get to see my baby…. I tried calling my mom’s house but nobody’s answering, they must be out somewhere then…. oh yeah, I forgot! she said they were gonna go to Canadian Tire for the pressure washer thing…. duh!!!
I just wanna sleep and eat this day….. hehehe… another excuse to eat??? well, that’s it… we’ve (well, at least I did) decided that we won’t try for a baby yet…. maybe it’s a sign that I got my period this month, that we’re not ready for another one yet… maybe next year…..

hay naku…. and I thought I was preggers already…. what with the so called “symptoms” and all…. turns out I was only a few days delayed… I can’t understand it… how can people do it once and get pregnant right away… esp teenagers… you know when they’re preggers and they say, “we only did it that one time”, on the other hand, you do it for a month and ….NOTHING… you still get your period… I wonder…. maybe most of them lie… saying it was only that one time… or they do it when the girl is ovulating and they didn’t know she was… oh well… I really felt like we made something already… I guess it was just gas… hehehe….
anyways for the weekend, with all the money that my hubby won during the Superbowl, we’re off to the Casino to play some Texas hold’em Poker, well at least he is, I’m just there to play the slots and wait for him… I wanna sit at a Spanish 21 table but I’m so scared…. but I did it a couple of times already… but both times with Murriel beside me playing as well… we’re gonna drop Justin at my sister’s house first before we go to Brantford… then we’re not staying in Brantford long, so after we’ll go to my sisters to eat and maybe watch some TFC…
any Valentines day plans??? nope, the hubby thinks that buying flowers is a waste, he instead would like to spend that money on food… so we might just go to a buffet or something… he’s not that romantic anymore… waaaahhhh… unlike when we were dating… when he used to surprise me everytime… I remember there was one birthday and to start my birthday off at 12am of May 9th, he called me to tell me to open the front door… but when I did, there was no one around but a big bouquet of tulips on the floor… and that was just the start!!!! those were the days, huh????!!!!
anyways, for any of you celebrating the hearts day this weekend, have a good one and makes lots of babies… heheheh…

Happy Monday everyone…
I don’t know if this is just a malady or what but I beginning to feel some symptoms… I’m trying to remember if this is how I felt the last time, I’m pretty sure it was like this too… but I can’t be so sure… after all I’ve only missed it for a day…. it’s too soon to tell if this is what I think it is… but a couple of weeks ago, I’ve been having this crazy lower back pain that I remember I felt the last time and I thought it was just some symptoms of me getting it but I guess wrong that last time… now… ever since this mid morning I have been fighting off this nausea…. it’s not like I’m gonna throw up but my head hurts and I feel like am gonna but I don’t… it’s really confusing… I’d like to buy the test soon, but I’d like to wait a week at least… do you think so… it’s just that I’m sure we made one this time… oh boy… how exciting, huh???!!!
well, I talked to my sister and her urine test came back negative… but how come she still hasn’t gotten hers for more than a month??? hhhmmm… i guess we’ll just have to wait for the blood test… that will be more accurate…
this past weekend, we didn’t do that much, just went to do some errands Saturday, went to square one, pay my student loan, do some grocery shopping, then stayed home with the whole gang(including ate bhong and her family this time) and watched Mr. 3000. I made spaghetti and murriel his bbq wings… yummy…
sunday, ate bhong and the kids were dropped off again at our house so they can go to church with us, then we went to eastgate, then went home… finally, with the temperature above zero and all that snow and ice melting, we got to take off our christmas lights and our huge Parol outside our house.. finally, huh… well, we got that deep freeze the past 2 weeks… and oh well, at least now it’s all gone and our house look like everybody else’s again…then we watched “Shall we dance” I really liked it… now me and Murriel will go for some ballroom dance lessons… hehehe… to lose weight!!!! or the other reason (you gotta watch the movie to know what i’m talking about ) then we watched the superbowl… I really liked the half time show with Paul McCartney… I had no idea he performs that well…
well, that’s about it I guess… this storck helped!!!! woohooo!!!!

Today is Friday… yes… yes… yes… as my son would say… and lucky for me, I get to get a half day off today…. I leave @ 12:30pm… isn’t that a good thing???? My dad is picking me up then and we might go to Eastgate…. my treat for picking me up… that’s fair right???
For the next two months… till April, I’m getting a half day off on Fridays twice a month and 2 fridays off twice a month… just using up my vacations…
nothing special really happened this past week… well, good thing Justin is feeling better nowadays… he started eating again…
oh yeah, I never knew that Justin knows how to put on his own boots…. isn’t that cool for a one year old??? last weekend me and my mom went to the Chinese store for some groceries and Murriel said that he found Justin in the hallway, with his boots on and pointing to the door… isn’t that neat??? he’s so independent!!! my baby is growing up too fast!!!
well, that’s about it… have to start working if I wanna finish by 12:30… see yah! and have a good weekend… don’t forget the Superbowl on Sunday!!!
