Last night up to this morning

Last night to celebrate our 2nd anniversary, we opted to go out just the three of us… we went to Chuck E Cheese for about an hour and a half so that our son could play… he’s really growing up, he’s not afraid of the rides anymore, unlike the last time we were there, but he IS still scared of the mascot… oh well… then we ate at Emperors Buffet… too bad they didn’t have lobsters last night… it wasn’t as good anymore since they changed the name.. it used to be China Buffet King, and I guess they changed owners or something because suddenly the quality of the food doesn’t taste as good… Hubby said that’s the last time we’re eating there… oh well, their loss not ours.. I should’ve agreed with him at first when he wanted to go to Frankie Tomatto… but it’s so far away that’s why… almost 45 mins drive from our house just for an Italian buffet… next time… probably on my bday… that was it, we watched American Idol when we got home… it was good, a lot of good singers last night, we’ll see who goes home tonight… hubby’s predicting it’s going either Anwar or Anthony… well we’ll see, shall we???

I’ve been visiting this site Blogkadahan at least once a day… I like reading their posts… some are funny, others inspiring, others makes you think… I like how they write… esp this guy Batjay, he’s really funny and very sweet to his wife… I do that a lot nowadays-blog hopping, I mean… I guess the tsismosa in me is getting out…

this morning, when we were dropping off our son, we got out of the elevator as someone was coming in, my son being the friendly kid that he is, was waving bye bye to that person while walking backwards, I knew there’s a chance he would bump his head in the corner of the door frame yet I didn’t think to stop it… why am I like that??? even in emergencies, I’m the person who gets shocked and not able to move… so my son did hit the door frame and now he’s got a bruise on his eyebrow… I feel so bad for him… now I’m thinking of taking half the day off so I can be with him… we’ll see…

well, better get back to work now… if I wanna go home early I have finish everything first… see yah… don’t wanna be yah… nyaks! corny!!!

oh yeah, on a side note, I’m still waiting if i’m getting an offer on the job that I was referred to… we’ll see…

Happy 2nd Anniversary!!!

Today is our 2nd wedding anniversary!!! already, eh??? time does fly by so fast!!! as per my previous posts, we’ve known each other for 8 years now… seems like so long ago… he’s known me and came to love me when I was still A LOT on the lighter side. Throughout our 8 year relationship I’ve gained about 33% more from my old weight from college… so sad, huh??? and went about 3 sizes up, depressing!!! BUT from all that gaining, I’ve got an almost 2 year old wonder!!! He’s barely two yet, he’s so intelligent and funny for his age…

anyways… let me tell you about our weekend @ Niagara Falls… Thursday morning my hubby still went to his full time job for half the day, going home at around 11:30am while I was watching Price is Right… then we went to Walmart to buy some chips and candies for our baby and a shaver for my hubby coz he forgot his at home… then we had the oil changed in the car, then picked up my mom so we can go eat at Eastgate for some Chinese… Then we were off to Niagara Falls…

Traffic was still good since it was about 2:00pm when we got on the highway and around 3:30 by the time we got to the hotel… we checked in, were given our wine, then we just dropped off our bags and headed to the casino right away… oh yeah our room was ok, it was a bit on the small side but the view was good, since we got a view of the falls, plus we had a 2 person jacuzzi that also overlooked the falls… other than that, the room was average… it was clean though… anyways… so we tried our luck at Pai Gow Poker… no luck… well, to sum it all up no luck the whole night… we ate at the Casino Buffet…. it wasn’t very good… except for the salmon and the cake, everything else sucked… we couldn’t walk long outside coz it was very chilly… and we didn’t have that much fun since we were both missing our son… so we vowed that next time we go there we’re bringing him with us… it was so funny because the bar inside the casino we’re playing all Shrek songs… that made us miss our baby more… those were his fave songs… so the next day, we just had breakfast at Tony Roma’s and tried the Casino again… ended up losing again… this is the first time we’ve lost so much… oh well… what can do??? so we ended up going home early… we didn’t even go to the border in Buffalo to get the sandals that I wanted coz I missed my son so much, I was just wasn’t in the mood for anything…

So, tonight… my hubby decided to call in sick in his part time job and we’re going to Emperors Buffet for dinner just the three of us then we’re going to Chuck e Cheese after so our baby can play… we’ll beter get back to work now…
