pagdating sa bahay kahapon after work, ayaw pang pumasok ni Justin sa loob ng bahay… gusto daw nyang mag play… eh limited ang time namin in between hubby’s full and part time… kelangan ko ayusin ang hapunan, etc etc… so sabi ni hubby… mamaya na lang kain muna tayo…
so na pakain naman namin si Justin… kaya lang after eating… hinanap nya agad ang papa nya…
Papa: tapos ka na bang kumain?
Justin: YES SIR! I done eat let’s play!
di pala nya nakalimutan yung sabi ng papa nya… ang cute cute nya… kc most of the time pag sinagot ka nya… “yes, sir!”
“maliligo ka na ba?” — “yes, sir!”
“tapos ka nang mag oo?” — “yes, sir!”
tapos ngayon marunong nang mamili ng isusoot… kahapon malamig so ang binibigay ko sa kanya yung makapal nyang jacket… na nabili ko sa Walmart… sabi ba naman sakin… “not that one” sabay turo sa gusto nyang isuot na jacket na Nautica na binigay ng tita Bong nya… tapos sabi ko mag boots na lang sya… yung winter boots para madaling isuot.. sabi ba naman sakin.. “this one” pointing sa new And1 running shoes nya “this nice shoes” daw…
sa tabi na naman nga namin natulog kagabi… sabi ko kaninang umaga… bakit tumabi ka na naman samin? ang sagot nya… “like this” sabay turo sa bed namin “nice bed”
hay kakaloka ang anak ko! masyadong marunong…

The weekend that passed went by pretty fast… it felt like we could’ve done more… but there is just not enough time!
Saturday morning was spent going to appointments, me for my ortho and hubby for physio… then we’re off to Woodbine Centre for some playtime for Justin… with his cousins Vince and Jess… they even had friends with them from Detroit… they played for a couple of hours then we went to Spadina to eat and go shopping for fruits… I was so surprised to see native filipino fruits in there… like lansones , tsiko, caimito, kalamansi…. I wanted to buy them all… but with prices ranging from $4.99/lb and up… I’ll just wait till we go back to Phils to eat them…. nyahahaha… (umiral ang ka cheap-an noh) then we had to go Milton because my mom and dad went to a friends party and he’s a bit drunk already so they needed a designated driver… so it’s me and hubby to the rescue… I liked that place now… compared to when we went there about three years ago… back then it wasn’t as developed yet… even now… it’s still a few years till they’ll look like Brampton… but me and hubby decided that in a couple of years, that’s where we’re buying our first ever BRAND NEW HOUSE… I really can’t wait… hopefully the next two years will go by fast too like our weekends… a lot of things will be happening in two years… it’s really exciting… well to a starting family maybe… because in two years… hopefully our credit cards will be all paid off, our car paid off, and baby number two will have been born by then… I can’t wait, I can’t wait, I can’t wait!!!
So, anyways, back to reality… Sunday was spent going to church and eating at Eastgate… it’s a tradition now… our weekend doesn’t feel the same if we don’t eat at Eastgate… then grocery shopping… then my sister and mom picked me up to go to Ikea… without hubby beside me, I spent…. I bought a set of glasses… a quilt cover set and a quilt… and oh yeah, two bamboo blinds that are now perfectly on our windows in our bedroom… then when I got home, we tried to go rollerblading in the park… but it was too cold and windy so we went home right away… Justin tried to play in the playground in front of our house… but again, it was cold!!! why is it always that Spring can’t come on a day that’s more Spring like and not like Winter??? most of the time, the first day of Spring is really cold… oh well, just a little bit more…. then we just watched TV, justin played in the basement… while I went on the elliptical for 27mins… while reading a book… then we went to our rooms… we’re so boring, aren’t we? I guess we’re really getting old now… because now, we prefer just staying in and getting lazy… instead of walking around in the mall…
and oh yeah, I saw a fourth pregnant woman in Ikea… first it’s my sister’s friend (who doesn’t even want to get pregnant again… yet), then it’s Liza in BT, then it’s my sister’s other friend (who claims she hasn’t gotten her period in years), and yesterday, it was Sunnylee (she’s turning 25 this year) and what about me? it’s going to be a year and a half that we’ve been trying… I guess, if we do it more often than once a week, eh? hehehhehe…
anyways, next week will be pretty busy too… we’re going to Scooters(indoor rollerskating) and then dinner at our place for our 3rd wedding anniversary… it’s been that long already?
all that activities…. hhhhmmm… and it’s not even counting the headaches that my brother in law has been giving us… I give up with him already… I don’t even want to lecture him anymore… I just don’t care… I don’t know if he’s just stupid or just acting stupid….
then come end of April, my other brother in law will be adding to our headaches….. his whole family is coming here to Canada to live and he’s asking if they can stay in our basement… that’s five people… (the brother in law, the wife and three kids)… add my other brother in law…. then me, hubby and Justin.. I just know it’ll be chaotic… but it’s family and we’re filipinos… so better just suffer in silence… and do our part….
sorry if anyone gets offended… lemme explain a little… the brother in law with the whole family coming… he’s been here 3 years already… he was supposed to prepare for his family coming here.. but what does he do instead? he lives with another woman… now he’s saying he can’t afford to rent an apt for his real family… tell me, does this guy deserve our help? and after all that I KNOW I will still look bad in front of his family….
hay hay hay…. it never ends… pls give me strength!!!
