I know I haven’t been posting much lately, it’s just that I’ve been so preoccupied lately… what with my work piling up each day… and our finances all falling into place…. we’ve begun saving for so many things…. our trip to LA this August, our trip to PI in Dec 2007…. add to that the stresses that my brother in law has been putting us in… and my parents…. it’s just a lot of stuff all at the same time… no wonder I found my first grey hair last week or was it the other week?  see, I’m also beginning to lose my mind… hahaha…..

but what has been keeping me going is my son… whoever said that one smile from your child can ease whatever pain you’re feeling… or can ease your tired aching feet or heart… anyways… is right on. despite of all this, I constantly find myself talking about my son to my co-workers… my friends… because I am just amazed at what he did that day or that night… what he said, how he said it, etc… kids at this age are truly a sponge so watch out those dirty mouths… they’re so gullible at this age too… I remember one time, Justin came to me because his arm was itchy… I was too lazy to get up and get the lotion so I told him “here, I’ll put laway on it”  so I did and he seemed happy about it… and the itch was gone! now whenever he hears that something is itchy on other people, he would put laway on it…

I find myself going on and on about my son… it’s just that I am so proud of him… at 2 1/2 years old, he’s potty trained… he can dress himself… he can feed himself, he helps out around the house (getting the pop when it’s time to eat, or getting the forks and spoons) and he speaks in sentences… in english, in tagalog and sometimes even in spanish! (thanks to Dora the Explorer)…. just think how cute it is whenever you run out of something and he tells “it’s ok, bili tayo more” or if he’s got the last cookie, he’ll tell you “here, share”   I remember yesterday he was playing with hubby and hubby was telling him to take off his socks because he might slip and he showed hubby the bottom of his socks to show that it’s got the non slip thing underneath and he said, “it’s ok, see”  those things that he does just makes me go “aaawwwwww so cute”…

now i’ll get back to work… i’ve babbled enough…
